How to choose the right PGF set

1. Match handedness to your swing

Start by confirming your dominant hand. Most sets are designed for right-handed players, but left-handed golfers need specific models. The PGF MK7 14-Piece Left Hand Regular is built for lefties with a shorter length. The PGF Mustang MK7 Left Hand Regular offers a +1 length for taller left-handed men. Choosing the wrong orientation affects your stance and swing path. Verify the hand orientation in the specs before buying. PGF provides clear distinctions for left and right hands to ensure proper fit.

2. Check the club count needed

Decide how many clubs you want in your bag. The PGF Gold TP 17-Piece Men's Set includes 17 clubs, offering the most comprehensive coverage. The Lady Concord 15-Piece Set provides 15 clubs, suitable for those who already own a bag. The Lady Diamond S5 and MK7 sets offer 14 clubs each. More clubs mean more options for different distances and lies. Fewer clubs reduce weight and cost. Select the count that matches your playing style and inventory needs without overcomplicating your setup.

3. Verify driver head size

Look at the driver head volume for forgiveness. The PGF Lady Concord 15-Piece Set features a 456cc titanium driver. Larger heads generally offer a bigger sweet spot. This helps on off-center hits. The Gold TP set also uses a titanium driver for forgiveness. Titanium allows for larger heads without adding excessive weight. Check the material and size in the product details. A larger driver can boost confidence and consistency for players who struggle with accuracy.

4. Select the correct size

Ensure the club length fits your height. The PGF Mustang MK7 Left Hand Regular has a +1 length for taller players. The Lady Diamond S5 uses standard length for average height women. The Gold TP set is regular size for men. Incorrect length affects your posture and swing mechanics. Match the size specification to your physical stature. PGF lists size clearly for each model. Choosing the right length helps you strike the ball more consistently and comfortably.

5. Choose a color preference

Pick a color that suits your taste. The PGF Lady Concord 15-Piece Set comes in pink. The Gold TP and MK7 sets are black. The Lady Diamond S5 offers metallic silver, chrome, black, and white options. Color does not affect performance. It is purely aesthetic. Select the finish you prefer for your bag. PGF provides various color choices across its lineup. This allows you to customize the look of your equipment to match your personal style.
