The set includes ten clubs, providing a full range of options for various course situations. A key defining spec is the regular flex graphite shafts in the driver, wood, and hybrid, which help enhance distance. Another critical spec is the regular flex steel shafts in the iron set, offering consistent control for approach shots. This combination aims to balance power and precision for everyday players.

- Comes with a deluxe stand bag and premium headcovers for protection and storage
Who it fits
Good fit for
This set suits beginners or intermediate male golfers who prefer a complete, ready-to-play solution. The regular flex graphite shafts in the long game clubs help players who need help getting the ball airborne and achieving more distance. Meanwhile, the steel-shafted irons provide the feedback and control that developing players need to improve their short game. If you want a single purchase that covers all bases with trusted brand components, this configuration offers versatility for various course situations without requiring separate purchases.
Who should skip it
Experienced players seeking maximum customization should look elsewhere. This set comes with fixed regular flex shafts, which may feel too soft for high swing speeds. The iron set starts at the 6-iron, meaning you lack a 3, 4, or 5-iron if you prefer those lofts for specific yardages. Additionally, the driver is a standard 460cc model, which might not suit players who prefer smaller, more workable heads. If you require specific lie angles or custom fittings, this off-the-rack option may not meet your precise performance needs.
Verdict: The Callaway Edge 10-Piece Set offers a practical, spec-driven package for men seeking a complete golf setup. It balances distance-oriented long game clubs with control-focused irons, making it a solid choice for developing players.
Key specs explained for Callaway Edge
Shaft Flex: Regular
Regular flex shafts bend moderately during your swing. This balance helps moderate swing speeds achieve better distance without sacrificing control. It suits most amateur golfers who do not have extremely fast or very slow tempos. You should compare this to stiff shafts for faster players or senior flex for smoother swings. This option provides a reliable middle ground for consistent contact.
Number of Clubs: 10
This set contains ten clubs, covering the essential needs for a round. It includes a driver, wood, hybrid, six irons, and a putter. This count provides enough variety for different distances and lies without carrying excessive weight. You will have options for tee shots, approach play, and putting. It is a complete package that removes the guesswork from building a full bag from scratch.
Included Bag: Yes (deluxe stand bag)
A deluxe stand bag is included to hold your clubs and accessories. This bag features straps so you can carry it comfortably while walking the course. It keeps your equipment organized and protected. You benefit from having all necessary gear in one purchase. This convenience allows you to focus on your game rather than sourcing separate storage solutions for your new clubs.
Target Audience: Men
This set is specifically designed and sized for men. The club lengths, weights, and grip sizes align with typical male anthropometry. You will find a fit that feels natural in your hands. This specification ensures the equipment matches your physical profile for better control and comfort. It distinguishes this product from women's specific sets or unisex options that may require adjustment.
Design and build of the set
The Callaway Edge set features a driver with a 460cc titanium head. This large profile helps maximize the sweet spot for better distance. The wood and hybrid clubs use regular flex graphite shafts. Graphite is lighter than steel, which can help you generate more clubhead speed. The iron set includes six through nine irons, plus a pitching wedge and sand wedge. These clubs use regular flex steel shafts. Steel provides consistent control and a solid feel at impact. You get a complete range of lofts for different distances and turf conditions.
According to the listing, the putter is an Odyssey White Hot model. This specific insert is known for its soft feel and accurate roll. The set includes premium headcovers for the woods and hybrid. These covers protect your clubs from scratches and dings during transport. You also receive a deluxe stand bag. The bag offers convenient storage and keeps your clubs upright on the course.
The listing specifies the color options as black, white, and blue. The overall weight is listed at 20 pounds. This weight reflects the total mass of all ten clubs plus the bag. The dimensions are noted as 48 inches in height. This height ensures the clubs are standard length for most adult men. The design prioritizes a complete, ready-to-play package. You do not need to buy additional items to start playing.
Setup and everyday use
Unpacking the Callaway Edge set is straightforward. The package arrives as a complete unit. You receive a deluxe stand bag, premium headcovers, and ten clubs. The bag provides convenient storage for your gear on the course. It keeps your equipment organized and protected during transport. The headcovers shield the driver, woods, and hybrid from scratches and dents. This protects the finish and maintains the clubs' appearance over time.
The set is designed for immediate play. You do not need to buy separate components. The driver, three wood, and hybrid come with graphite shafts. These shafts are lighter, which can help you generate speed. The iron set includes six through pitching wedge and sand wedge. These clubs feature steel shafts for consistent control. The Odyssey White Hot putter is included for use on the greens. Its design aims to provide superior feel and accuracy.
Daily use involves switching between different club types. The graphite shafts in the long clubs offer distance potential. The steel shafts in the irons offer stability. The stand bag allows you to carry the set comfortably. The weight of the full set is twenty pounds. This is manageable for walking the course. The color scheme includes black, white, and blue. This classic look suits various style preferences. The set is ready to use right out of the box. You can start playing without additional purchases.
Before you buy this set
This set includes ten clubs, covering driver through sand wedge. You likely need additional wedges for varied bunker conditions. The included Odyssey White Hot putter is functional, but many players prefer a different model for personal feel. Check your current bag height. This set comes with a deluxe stand bag, which may not match your existing cart setup. Verify shaft lengths. The regular flex graphite shafts in the woods suit moderate swing speeds, but steel irons require different fitting. Consider your typical course conditions. If you play on soft greens, the standard sole widths may need adjustment. This option fits beginners seeking a complete package. It suits those who want one purchase for all basic needs. It does not fit players needing specialized fitting or high-performance components. Keep clubs clean. Store them in the provided headcovers to prevent damage. This set is a practical starting point for new golfers.
