Looking Beyond the COBRA Golf Air-X 2 Complete? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Comparing Key Specs and Features

Callaway REVA Women's 8-Piece Set

The Callaway REVA set targets shorter women golfers with a specific 8-piece configuration. It weighs 10 pounds, which is slightly heavier than the Cobra set’s implied lighter build but still manageable. This set focuses on forgiveness and high launch, prioritizing ease of use over a full bag of clubs. You get fewer clubs than the Cobra’s complete setup, but the design emphasizes consistency for players who need help getting the ball airborne. The graphite shafts are standard, matching the Cobra’s material choice. If you are shorter or prefer a simpler bag, this compact option offers targeted forgiveness without the complexity of a larger set.

TaylorMade RBZ Speedlite 2 Ladies Set

The TaylorMade RBZ Speedlite 2 set offers a 10-piece configuration, providing more clubs than the Cobra’s standard setup. It features graphite shafts and a lightweight design, weighing just 8 pounds. This makes it one of the lightest options available, ideal for players seeking speed and ease of swing. The set includes a variety of clubs to cover different distances, offering more versatility than the Cobra’s fixed loft driver. The grey and white color scheme provides a different aesthetic. If you want a comprehensive set with a focus on lightweight performance and distance, this TaylorMade option delivers a balanced mix of forgiveness and control through its straightforward 10-piece layout.

Callaway Mavrik Max 22 Women's Set

The Callaway Mavrik Max 22 is an iron set, not a complete bag. It measures 43 inches in length, which is shorter than the Cobra’s 48-inch driver. This set is designed for women who already own other clubs and need forgiveness-focused irons to complement their existing setup. It uses graphite shafts and targets players seeking specific iron performance rather than a full bag solution. You gain targeted forgiveness in the irons but lose the convenience of a complete set. If you have a driver and woods but need better performance from your mid-to-short irons, this Callaway set fills that gap effectively.

Tangkula Women's 9-Piece Golf Set

The Tangkula 9-Piece Set offers a complete solution with a weight of 13 pounds. This is slightly heavier than the Cobra set but still lightweight for women golfers. It features graphite shafts and a range of lengths from 34 to 43 inches, covering various club types. The set includes a fixed loft driver, providing ease of use similar to the Cobra. If you prefer a complete bag with a manageable weight and a straightforward design, this Tangkula option is a solid choice. It sacrifices some of the advanced face technology found in the Cobra but offers a practical, all-in-one package for players seeking a reliable and affordable complete set.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Fast Iron Set

The Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Fast is an iron set, not a complete bag. It includes irons from 6 to PW and AW, measuring 42 inches in length. This set uses graphite shafts and features AI-optimized faces to enhance ball speed and control. It is designed for women golfers seeking distance and precision in their irons. You gain advanced technology and specific iron performance but lose the convenience of a full set. If you already have a driver and woods but want to upgrade your iron play with cutting-edge design, this Callaway set offers targeted improvements in distance and accuracy through its specialized face technology.

Stix Women's Graphite Golf Set

The Stix Women’s 11-Piece Set offers a complete graphite setup with a standard length. It includes 11 clubs, providing more coverage than the Cobra’s typical configuration. The set is designed for forgiveness and ease of use, particularly from the driver and hybrids. It uses graphite shafts throughout, matching the Cobra’s material choice. If you want a comprehensive bag with a focus on ease of use and forgiveness, this Stix option is a strong contender. It provides a full range of clubs to handle various on-course situations, offering a balanced approach for women golfers who prefer a complete and straightforward setup without complex specifications.
