Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this set if you are a woman looking for a complete, ready-to-play package. The 14-piece configuration gives you everything needed, including a driver, fairway wood, hybrid, irons, and putter. The right-hand orientation and regular size fit standard female players. If you value forgiveness and distance off the tee, the large driver head and graphite shaft are key benefits. The stand bag adds convenience for walking the course. This is a solid choice for beginners or casual players who want a single purchase that covers all bases.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you prefer left-handed clubs, as this listing is for right-hand orientation only. The set is fixed at 14 pieces, so you cannot customize the number of clubs or add extras like a chipping wedge separately. If you are an advanced player seeking specific shaft flexes or premium materials, the standard shaft style and basic construction may not meet your needs. The silver color option is limited, so if you prefer a different aesthetic, check the variations. This is a general-purpose set, not a specialized tool for low-handicap play.
Verdict: This 14-piece set offers a practical, spec-driven solution for women golfers seeking distance and forgiveness. It provides a complete, balanced setup that is easy to use right out of the box.
Key specs for this set
14 Clubs
This count covers a full round of golf. You get a driver, fairway wood, hybrid, four irons, two wedges, and a putter. This variety lets you handle different distances and lies on the course. It is a standard complete set size. You do not need to buy extra clubs to start playing. It simplifies your bag setup.
Right Hand
This set is built for players who hold the club with their left hand on top and right hand below. It dictates the swing direction and clubface orientation. If you are right-handed, this is the correct orientation. Left-handed players must look for a different listing. Choosing the wrong hand orientation makes the clubs unusable for your swing style.
Women
This target audience indicates the clubs are scaled for female players. The shafts are likely lighter and more flexible. The grip sizes may be smaller for better control. The clubheads might be designed for forgiveness at moderate swing speeds. This specification helps you find clubs that match your physical build and strength levels for easier contact.
14 pounds
This weight includes the clubs, bag, and headcovers. A lighter total package is easier to carry around the course for nine or eighteen holes. It reduces fatigue in your arms and shoulders. Compare this to heavier sets that might be harder to manage. This weight supports a comfortable walking experience without sacrificing the durability of the included gear.
Design and Build Details
The Callaway Strata Plus 14-Piece Women's Set is built for practical play on the course. According to the listing, the driver features a 460cc clubhead with a graphite shaft. This large head size creates a bigger sweet spot, which helps you hit more accurate shots even if your contact is not perfect. The graphite shaft is designed to promote faster swing speeds, giving you more distance off the tee. The fairway wood follows this theme by promoting longer shots and easier launch conditions.
The iron set, ranging from 6 to 9 iron, uses perimeter weighting and progressive sole width technology. Perimeter weighting moves mass to the edges of the clubhead to increase forgiveness on off-center hits. Progressive sole width means the soles are wider in the longer irons to help with turf interaction and easier launch, while shorter irons have narrower soles for better control and precision. This layout helps you manage different lies and distances with confidence.
The putter is a mallet style with alignment aids. This design helps you square the face at impact for incredible accuracy on the greens. The set also includes a stand bag and three headcovers to protect your clubs during transport. The bag is sized at 11 inches wide and 11 inches high, with a total length of 48 inches. The entire package weighs 14 pounds. This weight is manageable for carrying or pulling the bag. The silver finish provides a clean look that matches standard course aesthetics.
Setup and everyday use details
This set arrives as a complete package, meaning you do not need to source individual clubs. The listing confirms it includes a driver, five wood, five hybrid, six through nine irons, a pitching wedge, a sand wedge, a putter, and a stand bag. You also receive three headcovers for storage. The stand bag is designed to carry the equipment, keeping your hands free while walking the course. The bag holds all fourteen clubs in a single unit. This simplifies transport and organization. You can load the clubs directly into the bag slots. The putter is a mallet style with alignment aids. This design helps you aim your shots more accurately on the green. The irons feature perimeter weighting and progressive sole width. These specs suggest improved control and easier interaction with the turf. The driver has a forty-sixty cubic centimeter head and a graphite shaft. This combination is intended to help you generate distance off the tee. The fairway wood promotes faster swing speeds for long shots. The set is built for right-handed women. It comes in silver color. The overall dimensions are forty-eight inches in length. The width and height are eleven inches. The total weight is fourteen pounds. This weight distribution allows for manageable handling during a round. You can use this set for casual play or practice sessions. The complete nature of the package means you can start playing immediately after unboxing. No additional purchases are required for basic setup. The stand bag provides stability when placed on the ground. This makes it easy to select clubs between shots. The included headcovers protect your woods and hybrids from damage during transport. You can store them in the bag or in your car. This set offers a practical solution for women who want a ready-to-use golf kit.
Before You Buy This Set
This package includes a stand bag, so you do not need to buy one separately. However, you must purchase golf balls and tees on your own. The set is designed for right-handed players only. If you are left-handed, you need to check the other ten variations listed on the page to find a left-hand option. The clubs are regular size, which fits most average-height women. You should verify that this length matches your height for proper posture. Keep the graphite shaft clean and dry to prevent damage. Store the headcovers on the woods and hybrid when not in use to protect the finishes. This set sits alongside other Strata models like the Ultimate or Intro versions. You should compare the number of clubs in each to see which fits your budget and skill level best. This specific 14-piece count offers a balanced mix for beginners who want a full round of clubs without mixing brands.
