Choosing the right tall size vs petite size golf club set depends on your build and gender. Both options offer complete 14-piece configurations for right-handed players, ensuring you have all necessary clubs from driver to putter. The main difference lies in their target audience and physical dimensions. One set is engineered for taller men, while the other is designed for women with petite stature. You need to match the club length and grip size to your specific needs for comfortable play.

Tall vs Petite Golf Club Sets
target audience
The Precise M5 set is built for men, specifically those who are 6'1" and above. It features a right-hand configuration with a +1" shaft length to accommodate taller frames. In contrast, the Wilson Profile SGI set is designed for women. It includes women-sized soft grips and lightweight graphite shafts to match female swing speeds. The Wilson model is labeled as Petite, targeting shorter stature players. You must choose based on your gender and height needs. The Precise set offers left-hand options for men, while the Wilson set is right-hand only. Selecting the wrong target audience can lead to poor fit and comfort.
size
Size is the primary differentiator between these two complete sets. The Precise M5 is a Tall Size +1" model, measuring 49 inches in width and 16 pounds in weight. This length is intended for players over 6'1". The Wilson Profile SGI is a Petite size set, weighing only 10 pounds. It is designed for women of shorter stature. The Petite clubs are lighter and shorter to ensure proper swing mechanics. If you are tall, the Precise set provides the necessary reach. If you are petite, the Wilson set offers a more manageable weight and length. Choosing the correct size ensures you can swing comfortably.
shaft material
Both sets utilize graphite shafts to reduce weight and increase swing speed. The Precise M5 set includes full-length graphite shafts throughout all clubs, including the driver, fairway wood, hybrid, and irons. This consistency helps with feel and distance. The Wilson Profile SGI set also uses lightweight graphite shafts for most clubs. However, the putter in the Wilson set is not graphite, as noted in its key specs. This difference is minor but exists. The graphite construction in both sets aids players with slower swing speeds by making the clubs easier to lift. You get similar benefits from the lightweight materials in both options.
included bag
The type of bag included varies significantly between the two sets. The Precise M5 comes with a stand bag, which has dual shoulder straps and is designed for walking the course. It also includes three premium headcovers for the driver, wood, and hybrid. The Wilson Profile SGI set includes a cart bag, which is heavier and designed for use on a golf cart. It features double-padded shoulder straps, a rugged handle top, and multiple pockets, including a fleece-lined valuables pocket. If you walk, the Precise stand bag is more practical. If you ride, the Wilson cart bag offers more storage and stability.
color
Color options are limited in the data provided for both products. The Precise M5 Tall Size set is available in Red. This bright color makes the clubs easy to spot on the grass. The Wilson Profile SGI Petite set is listed with the color Cart Bag, which likely refers to the bag style rather than a specific club color. The data does not specify the exact hue of the Wilson clubs. You may have fewer visual customization choices with the Wilson set based on this information. The Precise set offers a distinct red finish. Check the product images for exact color details if appearance is a priority.
