If you are searching for taylormade build custom left handed alternatives, this guide compares 6 similar picks to help you find the right fit. The original Cobra Air X set targets seniors with a six-club configuration that includes a gap wedge and sand wedge. It offers left-handed orientation and customizable shafts, which allows you to match the flex to your swing speed. This setup provides practical forgiveness for players who need help launching the ball.
However, you might prefer a different brand or a different club count. Some buyers need a full set rather than a partial package, or they may want right-handed clubs instead. The alternatives listed here were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original product. We focused on sets that share senior flex shafts and graphite construction. This ensures you have options that maintain the ease of use you expect, even if the exact configuration varies. You can compare these picks to see which specs align best with your game.
Our top pick: Cobra Air X Senior Iron Set Left Handed.
How each alternative compares
Precise M5 Men's Senior All Graphite Set
The Precise M5 set is designed for right-handed players, so it does not match your left-handed requirement. It offers a complete graphite package with oversized heads for maximum forgiveness. This set prioritizes ease of use over the custom shaft options available in the original. If you play right-handed and want a straightforward, lightweight graphite set for senior speeds, this is a solid choice. You give up the ability to choose specific shaft materials like the Catalyst Black option. It is best for seniors who value a ready-to-play configuration with consistent performance across all clubs rather than custom fit flexibility.
Majek K6 Senior Iron Set 8-Piece
The Majek K6 is another right-handed option, making it unsuitable for left-handed golfers. It provides an eight-piece graphite iron set with senior flex shafts. The set includes a wider range of clubs compared to the original's six-piece configuration. You gain more clubs in the set but lose the left-handed orientation entirely. The graphite shafts offer lightweight forgiveness similar to the original, but the complete set nature means less customization for specific wedge needs. This pick is for right-handed seniors seeking a comprehensive iron set with consistent launch characteristics. It does not allow you to select specific shaft types like the original's drop-down menu options.
TaylorMade Cobra Air X Senior Iron Set
This TaylorMade Cobra Air X set is for right-handed players and contains only five clubs. It excludes the pitching wedge, focusing instead on specific wedges to round out an existing bag. If you are right-handed and need gap and sand wedges with senior flex shafts, this fits your needs. You lose the left-handed orientation and the pitching wedge included in the original. The configuration is more limited, offering fewer clubs for a lower price point. It is ideal for seniors who already have a pitching wedge and need specific short-game clubs. The lack of a pitching wedge means it is not a standalone solution for building a full iron set from scratch.
Precise Aspire XD1 Senior Men's Set
The Precise Aspire XD1 is a complete lightweight graphite set for right-handed seniors. It provides a ready-to-play solution without the need for custom shaft selection. The set includes a full range of irons, offering more convenience than the original's customizable approach. You gain a complete set but lose the ability to choose specific shaft materials or left-handed orientation. The graphite construction ensures forgiveness and ease of launch for senior swing speeds. This pick is for players who want a hassle-free experience with a full set of clubs. It does not offer the tailored fit options available in the original, making it less suitable for those seeking specific performance characteristics.
Precise Aspire XD1 Senior Men's Set
The Precise A9 is a lightweight graphite iron set for right-handed seniors. It provides a solid option for moderate swing speeds with senior flex shafts. The set lacks the full range of clubs found in the original, offering fewer options for customization. You gain a simple, affordable graphite set but lose the left-handed orientation and specific wedge configurations. The graphite shafts deliver forgiveness and ease of use, similar to the original's design philosophy. This pick is for right-handed seniors seeking a budget-friendly iron set with consistent performance. It does not allow for custom shaft selection, making it less suitable for players needing specific swing speed matches or left-handed play.
Majek K5s Hybrid Iron Set
The Majek K5s is a right-handed hybrid iron set with senior flex graphite shafts. It offers a complete 3-to-PW range with midsize grips for easier handling. You gain a hybrid-focused set with consistent launch characteristics but lose the left-handed orientation and iron-specific customization. The midsize grips are beneficial for seniors seeking comfort and control. This pick is for right-handed seniors who prefer hybrids over traditional irons. It does not offer the same level of customization as the original, nor does it suit left-handed players. The graphite shafts provide forgiveness, but the set is limited to hybrid configurations rather than a full iron set.

Yes, the top-ranked Cobra Air X Senior Iron Set is available in left-handed models. It features senior flex shafts and a black finish, making it a practical choice for seniors who need forgiveness in their short game. The set includes customizable shafts to match your specific swing speed.
Can I buy a complete left-handed graphite set from Precise?
No, the Precise M5 and Aspire XD1 sets are designed for right-handed players. The data confirms these brands do not offer left-handed options in their current senior graphite lineups. You would need to look for other brands or individual clubs to build a complete left-handed set.
Are there left-handed options from Majek for seniors?
The provided Majek sets, including the K6 Iron Set and K5s Hybrid Set, are specified for right-handed use. The K6 is an eight-piece graphite set, while the K5s offers a three-to-pitching wedge range. Neither brand is listed as offering left-handed versions for senior players in this comparison.
What shaft flex is standard in these senior sets?
All listed senior iron sets utilize senior flex shafts. This includes the TaylorMade Cobra Air X and the Precise M5, Aspire XD1, and A9 sets. Senior flex shafts are designed to assist players with moderate swing speeds, providing easier launch and increased distance without requiring a stiff or regular flex.
Does the Cobra Air X set include a pitching wedge?
The six-club configuration of the Cobra Air X set includes a gap wedge and sand wedge but omits a pitching wedge. This allows you to customize your iron play around your existing pitching wedge. The set focuses on forgiveness and customizable shafts rather than a full nine-iron range.
Are the shafts graphite or steel in these senior sets?
Every senior set listed uses graphite shafts. The Precise M5, Aspire XD1, A9, Majek K6, and K5s sets all feature graphite construction. Graphite shafts are lighter than steel, which helps seniors generate clubhead speed and reduces vibration on mishits, offering comfort and ease of use throughout the set.
