6 Best Alternatives to the TaylorMade SIM 2 Max Women's (2026)
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Links on this page are affiliate links.
You are looking for taylormade sim 2 max women s alternatives because the original iron set has specific limitations. The TaylorMade SIM 2 Max Women's Iron Set features graphite shafts and a Cap Back Design for forgiveness. It is sold as a 5-PW and AW iron set. You might want a complete package with woods and a driver. The original requires separate purchases for those clubs. You may also prefer a different shaft flex or a lower price point.
The alternatives in this list were chosen because their specs overlap with the original. We selected products that also target women golfers and use graphite shafts. The options range from complete 16-piece sets to specialized iron sets. Some choices offer a titanium driver for distance. Others provide a lighter feel for easier launch. Each option addresses the need for forgiveness and consistent ball speed. You can compare the configurations to find the right fit for your game.
How these alternatives compare
Callaway Strata Ultimate Women's 16-Piece Set
The Callaway Strata Ultimate Women's 16-Piece Set differs significantly by providing a complete package rather than just irons. It includes a titanium driver and woods, which the SIM 2 Max does not. Both use graphite shafts for women golfers. The Strata set weighs 16 pounds and measures 48 inches in length, making it heavier and longer than the 6.65-pound, 46-inch SIM 2 Max irons. This option suits beginners who want a ready-to-play solution without buying separate clubs. You get more club types but less specialized iron technology compared to the TaylorMade model.
XDriveMax 14-Piece Women's Set, Graphite
The XDriveMax 14-Piece Women's Set offers a full setup for beginners who need forgiveness and convenience. Like the SIM 2 Max, it uses graphite shafts and targets right-handed women. However, it provides a complete bag of clubs rather than just the 5-PW and AW iron configuration. The XDriveMax set is designed for those who want to start playing immediately without assembling individual pieces. It sacrifices the specific Cap Back Design and ECHO Damping System of the TaylorMade irons for a broader, all-in-one value. This choice is better if you need woods and a driver alongside your irons.
TaylorMade RBZ Speedlite 2 Ladies Set
The TaylorMade RBZ Speedlite 2 Ladies Set is a streamlined 10-piece graphite option that serves as a complete package. It shares the brand and graphite shaft preference with the SIM 2 Max but includes woods and a driver. The RBZ set weighs 8 pounds and measures 15 inches in width, differing from the 6.65-pound, 46-inch SIM 2 Max iron set. This alternative suits women seeking distance and forgiveness in a unified design. You gain a complete set but lose the specialized progressive inverted cone technology and thru-slot speed pocket found in the SIM 2 Max irons. It is a lighter, more compact option.
Callaway Mavrik Max 22 Women's Set
The Callaway Mavrik Max 22 Women's Set focuses on easier launch and consistent ball speeds for right-handed players. It uses graphite shafts and features a black finish, contrasting with the steel-colored SIM 2 Max. The Mavrik set measures 43 inches in length and weighs less than the 46-inch, 6.65-pound SIM 2 Max irons. This option is ideal for women who prioritize launch assistance over the specific Cap Back Design of the TaylorMade model. It offers a specialized iron design but lacks the complete set convenience of other alternatives. You get focused iron performance with a different aesthetic and slightly shorter length.
Orlimar Escape HL Ladies Iron Set
The Orlimar Escape HL Ladies Iron Set is designed for women seeking high forgiveness and easy launch. It uses graphite shafts and features a cavity back with a low center of gravity, similar to the forgiveness goals of the SIM 2 Max. The Orlimar set is labeled as Ladies Standard size, targeting the same demographic. It differs by focusing heavily on getting the ball up quickly, which may appeal to players who struggle with launch. You sacrifice the ECHO Damping System and thru-slot speed pocket of the TaylorMade model for a simpler, high-forgiveness design. This is a solid choice for consistency without the complex technology of the SIM 2 Max.
Cobra Golf Fly-XL Complete Set
The Cobra Golf Fly-XL Complete Set provides a balanced mix of forgiveness and distance for beginners. It uses graphite shafts and targets right-handed women, similar to the SIM 2 Max. However, it is a 13-piece complete set, offering woods and a driver unlike the iron-only SIM 2 Max. The Cobra set measures 48 inches in length and 12 inches in width, differing from the 46-inch, 5-inch wide SIM 2 Max irons. This option suits players who prioritize ease of use and consistent ball striking over custom fitting options. You gain a full set but lose the specialized face flexibility and damping technology of the TaylorMade irons.
