6 Best Alternatives to the Tour Edge TE-400 Package Set (2026)

How each alternative compares

Callaway Strata Ultimate Women's 16-Piece Set

The Callaway Strata Ultimate Women's 16-Piece Set targets a different demographic than the Tour Edge TE-400. It is designed specifically for women, whereas the TE-400 is a standard men’s or unisex package. This set includes 16 pieces, providing a more complete inventory than the typical TE-400 configuration. It features graphite shafts for forgiveness and distance, similar to the TE-400, but offers a silver color scheme instead of blue. The titanium driver and hybrid options aim to provide ease of use for female golfers. If you are a woman seeking a full graphite setup, this set is a practical alternative that addresses specific fit needs the TE-400 may not meet.

TaylorMade SIM 2 Max Iron Set

The TaylorMade SIM 2 Max Iron Set focuses on a specific component rather than a full package. It offers graphite shafts in a regular flex, matching the TE-400’s shaft material. However, it is an iron set only, not a complete bag with woods and putter. The cap back design and speed pocket provide forgiveness and distance, comparable to the TE-400’s face technologies. It is sized for regular fit right-handed men. If you already have woods and a putter but want higher-quality irons with a softer feel, this set is a strong upgrade. It sacrifices the convenience of a full package for specialized iron performance and a steel-colored finish.

Callaway CG PK XR Complete Set 26

The Callaway CG PK XR Complete Set 26 offers a significantly larger inventory with 26 pieces. Like the TE-400, it uses graphite shafts and targets beginners seeking forgiveness. It includes a titanium driver and a wide range of clubs to cover every situation on the course. The set is available in a blue and red color scheme, differing from the TE-400’s blue. It is designed for right-handed golfers in a regular size. If you want a more extensive collection of clubs for a lower handicap progression or varied course conditions, this premium option provides more versatility. It gives you more clubs but may lack the specific Diamond Face 2.0 technology found in the TE-400.

Precise M5 Men's All Graphite Regular Set

The Precise M5 Men's All Graphite Regular Set is a lightweight alternative designed for men seeking ease of use. It features an all-graphite shaft configuration, similar to the TE-400, but comes in a black color. The set is marketed as forgiving and lightweight, appealing to beginners or seniors who prioritize comfort over premium performance. It is sized for regular fit right-handed players. If you prefer a darker aesthetic and want a set that emphasizes lightweight forgiveness, this is a viable option. It sacrifices some of the advanced face technologies like Cup Face construction found in the TE-400 in favor of a simpler, lightweight design.

XDriveMax 14-Piece Women's Set, Graphite

The XDriveMax 14-Piece Women's Set is tailored for right-handed women, unlike the standard TE-400. It provides a full 14-piece setup with graphite shafts, ensuring a complete bag for female golfers. The set includes a forgiving 460cc driver and flexible shaft options. It is available in a green and graphite color scheme. If you are a woman looking for a dedicated women’s package with a standard 14-club count, this set is a direct alternative. It offers similar forgiveness and distance goals as the TE-400 but adjusts the fit and aesthetics to better suit women golfers. It gives up the TE-400’s specific acoustic and face technologies for a women-specific fit.

Cleveland Golf Halo XL Graphite Iron Set

The Cleveland Golf Halo XL Graphite Iron Set focuses on iron performance rather than a full package. It features graphite shafts in a regular flex for right-handed golfers. The XL head design and full-face grooves provide high forgiveness and consistent spin, comparable to the TE-400’s iron forgiveness. It is a standard-sized set in a right-handed configuration. If you need only irons with graphite shafts and want a set known for ease of hitting, this is a strong choice. It sacrifices the woods, hybrids, and putter included in the TE-400 package. It offers specialized iron forgiveness with a focus on consistent ball flight rather than the broader package technology of the TE-400.
