How to choose the right one
-
Check hand orientation first
You must select the correct hand orientation before comparing other specs. Most Precise tall sets are built for right-handed golfers. If you play left-handed, you need a specific model like the M5 Pro Tall +1" Left Hand. This set includes a titanium driver and stainless steel irons in a deluxe carry bag. Other options, such as the M5 Men's Left Hand Tall Set, offer steel-shafted irons with a stand bag. Choosing the wrong orientation renders the clubs unusable. Verify this spec early to narrow your search effectively.
-
Match shaft material to your needs
Shaft material affects weight and feel. The M5 All Graphite Tall Set features graphite shafts throughout, making it ideal for players seeking lighter clubs for easier handling. In contrast, the AMG Tall Size Men's 14-Piece Set combines a titanium driver with steel-shafted irons. This mix offers forgiveness off the tee and control on approach shots. The S7 Tall Golf Set also utilizes steel irons for solid feedback. Decide whether you prioritize swing speed or iron precision when evaluating this spec.
-
Verify the size specification
Tall size typically adds one inch to standard lengths. Look for labels like Tall Size +1" to ensure the clubs fit your height. The Precise M5 Men's Tall +1" Complete Set is designed for men 6'1" and above. It includes a 49-inch width measurement for the bag. The M8 Tall Men's Set also targets tall golfers with a complete package. Confirm the size designation matches your height requirements. Using standard length clubs can cause posture and swing issues if you are over six feet.
-
Consider the included bag type
The bag type influences transport and convenience. Some sets, like the M5 Women's Tall Purple Set, come with a stand bag for easy carrying on the course. The M5 Pro Tall +1" Left Hand includes a deluxe carry bag. The M5 Men's Left Hand Tall Set features a deluxe stand bag. Check if you need wheels for heavy loads or a lightweight stand bag for walking. The bag weight also contributes to the total set weight, which varies from 15.7 pounds to over 20 pounds.
-
Select the target audience
Precise offers distinct sets for men and women. The M5 Women's Tall Pink Set is tailored for right-handed women, featuring a titanium driver and graphite shafts.
