Orlimar Iron Sets Compared Side
Target Audience
The Orlimar Intercept MB Iron Set is engineered specifically for men. The data indicates it is designed for skilled players, particularly mid and low handicap golfers who want distance and forgiveness. In contrast, the Orlimar Allante Pink Women's Full Set targets women. It is built for beginner and intermediate players who need an all-in-one solution that balances performance with ease of use. You must choose the set that matches your gender and skill level to get the intended fit and feel from the clubs.
Shaft Material
Shaft material significantly affects swing weight and feel. The Intercept MB Iron Set uses lightweight steel shafts. Steel typically offers more control and a consistent feel for skilled players who generate higher swing speeds. The Allante Pink Women's Full Set uses graphite shafts for the woods, hybrid, and irons. Graphite is lighter and helps promote higher ball flight and increased distance, which benefits players with slower swing speeds. You should select the material that complements your swing dynamics and desired ball trajectory.
Shaft Flex
Flex determines how the club bends during the swing. The Intercept MB Iron Set comes with Regular flex steel shafts. This flex is suited for players with moderate to fast swing speeds who need stability. The Allante Pink Women's Full Set does not explicitly state a flex rating for its graphite shafts in the provided data. However, graphite shafts in women's sets are often designed to be more flexible to aid in launching the ball. You should verify the specific flex if available, as it impacts timing and distance control.
Included Bag
A complete set often includes a bag for convenience. The Orlimar Allante Pink Women's Full Set comes with a premium 14-way cart bag. This bag features full-length dividers, nine zippered pockets, lift handles, a towel ring, and a rain hood, providing maximum storage and protection for your gear. The Intercept MB Iron Set is an iron-only set. The data does not mention an included bag. You will need to purchase a separate bag if you choose the Intercept MB, whereas the Allante set is ready to use immediately.
Club Composition
The scope of the set varies greatly. The Intercept MB Iron Set includes seven clubs: a 5-iron through a gap wedge. It is designed for approach shots and distances on the course.
